2020 Census - Everyone Counts!
Census Day - Wednesday, April 1
Make sure Illinois is represented and funded for the next 10 years by accurately filling out your 2020 Census form. Everyone, regardless of age or citizenship, counts! For every person not counted, Illinois loses around $15,000 in federal funding. Beginning in mid-March every household will receive an invitation to fill out the 2020 Census. You can fill out the census online, by telephone, or on a paper form by mail. Don't have Internet access or a computer at home? Need help navigating the online form? Come to the library and let us help.
