DIY Light Up Valentine Cards (RR)

Wildlife Tracking with Wildlife Prairie Park (RR)
Saturday, March 13 10:00-11:00 on Zoom
Learn to identify the animals in your environment based on the clues they leave behind. An expert from Wildlife Prairie Park will talk about tracking and identifying animals, as well as assessing animal health. Participants will receive a Wildlife Tracking Kit, which will include an animal tracks guide, star wheel activity, nature journal, fun outdoor activity prompts, and more. Kits avaialble beginning March 1 at the Kid's Circulation Desk or via curbside pickup. While supplies last.
Create A Crewmate Scavenger Hunt (RR)
There are 2 Imposters among us at the library! Create a Crewmate and help us find the Imposters. Register for a Crewmate Kit before March 1. Don't be sus, join us!
- Pick up your Crewmate anytime between March 1 and 13.
- Paint your Crewmate and then return them to the library between March 15 and 20.
- The library will take pictures of the Crewmates performing tasks around the library and post them to our Facebook page between March 22 and 27.
- Submit your guess of who the Imposters are via Facebook or e-mail and be entered to win an Among Us themed gift.
- Winner will be announced March 29.
Mars Mission with Sphero Robots (RR)

The Perseverance Rover is scheduled to land on Mars on February 18, 2021. Come watch footage from the landing, learn about rover design, and see if you can program a rover (Sphero Robot) to navigate treacherous terrain. Limited to 6 participants. Masks required. (PNG)
3D Design: Geometric Planter (RR)
Tuesday, March 30, 2:15-3:30
Design a geometric planter using Tinkercad and learn the process for starting a 3D print. Planters, potting material, and a succulent will be available for pickup a week or so after the program. Limited to 6 participants. Masks required. (PNG)
Battle of the Books (RR)
January 6-April 28
Do you have what it takes to become a Battle of the Books Champion? Students in Mrs. McKinty and Mrs. Shoff's 7th and 8th grade English classes are invited to create a Battle Team with friends, read this year's titles, take part in fun book-related activities, and then test your knowledge of the books in an epic (online) battle. Winners receive glory and gift cards. All participants receive extra credit and treats. Find a list of this year's titles here.
