DIY Shrinky Dink Charms and Pins
Wednesday, July 18 5:30-7:00
Use Shrinky Dink material, a "magic" plastic which shrinks down to 1/3 of its original size and becomes nine times thicker when heated briefly in the oven, and sharpies, to make charms and pins.
Pool Party at the Princeville Aquatic Center
Tuesday, July 24 6:00-8:00
To attend the Pool Party, teens must either have attened at least three programs, or completed three reading levels/turned in three reading logs.

FIRST Tech Challenge
Are you in grades 7-12 and interested in building, programming, and driving robots? Are you creative? Do you like solving challenges with a team? Brimfield's new FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team could use you. The build and competition season starts in September, but our new team is going to start learning and practicing together this spring and summer.

Join us during homeroom from 2:16 to 3:04 once a month in the high school library to discuss what you're reading, watching, and writing, do simple DIY projects, and get advanced reader copies of books before they're released. Don't attend the high school, but want to come? Sign in at the front desk, and then come up to the library.
We will be meeting outside in May! Bring any books you want to swap.
Battle of the Books
Are you competitive? Do you like to read? Form a team with your friends, read this year's Battle of the Books titles, enjoy monthly book-related activities during lunch, and compete for glory and gift certificates in a book-related trivia battle against other teams. Battle of the Books is open to students in Mrs. McKinty and Mrs. Maher's English classes. Find a list of this year's titles here.
