Board members are elected for staggered six-year terms during the Consolidated Election in April. The Board is governed by the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees.

Board Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Library unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public.

Public Comment

Library Board meetings include an opportunity for public comment in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act and Library policy.
