The Brimfield Public Library was awarded a 2017 Project Next Generation Grant from the Illinois State Library for the second year in a row. This year, students ages 10-18 have the opportunity to attend mentor-lead workshops, during which they will learn how to use photography and videography equipment, as well as editing software. With PNG grant funds, the library has purchased a variety of equipment, including six Canon Rebel T5i cameras, eight laptops equipped with Adobe Creative Suite, and backgrounds and lighting for a small photography studio setup. Students can learn more about upcoming workshops by visiting the library's Project Next Generation page, and can register for workshops by contacting the library: 309-446-9575 or email@example.com. All workshops are developed pursuant to a Library Services and Technology Act grant administered by the Illinois State Library using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
