Get a Library Card

A Brimfield Public Library District library card is issued free of charge to anyone owning property, or residing in the Brimfield Public Library District.  The library district has the same boundaries as Brimfield CUSD 309.

To receive a library card, please bring with you a photo ID along with proof of current Brimfield Public Library Dist. residency or property ownership to the Circulation Desk at the library. Examples of acceptable identification include

  • valid driver’s license
  • valid u.s. passport
  • valid voter registration
  • mail with name & address on it
  • current property tax bill

Children under the age of 8 must have a parent or legal guardian with them when applying for a new card.  Please note that Brimfield Public Library Dist. materials are freely available to all, regardless of age.  It is the responsibility of parents to monitor their child's use of library materials, not the library staff.

Your valid Brimfield Public Library Dist. card is also honored at many other Central Illinois libraries.  Your library card will need to be renewed with any updated information every three years.  Please notify us as soon as possible of any changes of address, phone number, and/or email.

See Circulation Policy for Loan Periods, Fees, etc.
